Sustainability

Crasa understands that the responsibility for a more egalitarian and fair world is everyone's role. Therefore, in addition to promoting a business environment that values its professionals and contributes to the career and growth of these people, it also wants to make a history through sustainability and social responsibility actions. That is why we are fully supporters, disseminators and include the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals (UN, 2015) in all our infrastructure projects and management policies.

In 2015, the United Nations Summit (after several global debates and consultations) raised what would be the main demands of the world in relation to human, social and environmental development.

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals

Several scientific reports from different experts around the world point to an increase in climate crises related to the greenhouse effect, in addition to social and economic crises stemming from an increasingly unequal economy in terms of education and health opportunities for the inhabitants of planet.

From the 8 MDGs (Millennium Development Goals), also promoted by the UN in 2000, which, although they had achieved some good results, were still far from promoting sustainable development in the

world, the UN understood that for us to actually reach the sustainable path, it is extremely urgent to take bolder and more transformative measures – that's where the 17 goals were established, which suggest an application in all countries of the world by 2030.

The SDGs should guide national policies, business strategies, third sector actions and international cooperation activities in the coming years, thus succeeding and updating the 8 Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
